#NailArtbyMaarte: Spooky Nails

Halloween is here! Wanna go to a trick or treat event? Why not paint your nails for spookier look?! You might win that Best Costume prize.

For this nail art tutorial, I have created 5 designs in all: Jack O' Lantern, Bloody Spider, Frankenstein, Mummy and the Haunted Mansion.

Let's start with your clean nails, Caronia nail hardener as your Base Coat and white nail polish.

Jack O' Lantern

1. Pinkie fingernail - apply an orange nail polish leaving leaving some space near the cuticle area.

2. Using your nail art brush in green, put some leaves design near the cuticle area.

3. Put the face details in the orange area: eyes and nose in triangle and a crooked mouth.

Bloody Spider

1. Ring fingernail - apply some red nail polish on the tips to the middle part of your nails. Imagine that the red polish is blood dripping on your nails.

2. Draw a small spider using your black nail pen so that you can easily draw the details.

Frankenstein

1. Middle fingernail - apply green nail polish in the same way you apply the orange nail polish for your pinkies.

2. Using your black nail art pen, draw the hair of Frankenstein near the cuticle area.

3. Still using the black nail art pen, draw a stitch in his forehead and a line for his mouth.

4. For his eyes, put 2 dots using the brush tip of a white nail polish. Then apply again 2 small dots on top of these dots using your black nail art pen.

Mummy

1. Index fingernail - using your black nail art pen, draw a thick line in the middle of your nail. It should look like a blindfold.

2. On top of this line, put the eyes of the mummy in the same way as the Frankenstein's eyes. But use red dots instead of black for the 2 small dots.

3. Then draw some random lines to the white part of the nails. It should look like tissue papers wrapped around the body.

Haunted Mansion

1. Thumb fingernails - draw a simple house with a chimney using your black nail art pen in the middle of your nails.

2. Using your white nail art pen, draw a full moon on top of the house. The moon should be somewhat overlapping at the back of the house.

3. Then using your yellow nail art pen, draw the details of the house: door and windows.

This is how they should look...
