What's in Talkatinella's Kikay Kit?

When was the first time you have your own make-up kit a.k.a "Kikay Kit?"

I am not really that "kikay" (I think maarte doesn't count!!!) but I had my first "kikay kit" when I first got my job (the only time I had enough money, thus I have to fix myself up). My 1st kit was mainly composed of mascara, face powder, lip balm, lipstick and blush on. I am not into buying expensive make-up; hence, most of them were bought locally.

4 years ago, I have learned to follow beauty bloggers (askmewhats and beauty junkee) so my knowledge about make-up as well as make-up brands increased. I'm still not buying the expensive once, however, I tried to look for popular and affordable alternatives which will still work for me.

Here's what's in my "Kikay Kit" as of the moment:

What would you correct from your past to save the future?

"Maybe I would have taken a course/degree closer to my interests during college. I love arts as well as decorating. But guess what did I take? Computer Science. I'm not saying that I don't like computers since my work right now needs technical skills. But maybe if I took up fine arts or interior design, I might be more useful in the society.
(Big words!?) And that's why I have created this blog.

I'm really excited to watch the latest X-men film. Seeing the characters at the same time fighting, it doubles the thrill and action.

According to Wikipedia:

Hello friends! 

I have really missed blogging. Since it's the summer vacation of the kids, I am busy looking after them. We only have one helper who helps me with my kids.

Nail art time! Just few more days and it's Valentines Day. Are you going on a date or you just want to feel the love in the air? Paint your nails to spread the love!

Before sharing with you my latest nail art, let me share with you a Valentine story =). During college (don't let me reveal the year), our "Barkada" decided to wear something black on February 14. However, before Valentine's Day, we have decided not to push through with our plan. Valentine's Day came and guess what? We are all wearing black shirt. We are like members of "No love on Valentines Day" club.

Back to my nail art. For this week's design, I have decided to put little hearts to my nails. I also put stripes so that it will not look too boring.
